Hopi ear candling treatment
The hopi ear candles were originally used by the Hopi Indian tribes. The flame of the candle causes a vibration within the ear helped by the heat of the flame and the vibration of the herbs. As the candle burns the heat within the ear canal and sinuses increase which dilate the passages and relieve the pressure. This will stimulate the draining and clearing of the excess ear wax.

What happens during a Hopi ear candling treatment?
A short consultation will be done followed by an explanation about the candle and how it works. The candle will be lit and then placed into the ear, it takes between 9 to 12minutes to burn each side, while the candle is in the ear you will hear a sizzling/crackling noise which is the heating of the herbs and bees wax. Both ears will be treated and then a facial massage will be given to help drain the sinuses. After the treatment the candle will be opened to show the residue which will indicate the health of the ear and a recommendation will be made for how often appointments should be had. After care advice will then be given to let you know how to look after the ears.
